What is a Reiki Share Group?
Reiki share circles (also known as Reiki exchanges or practice groups) are community gatherings for those who have completed at least Level 1 Reiki training in the Usui lineage. These circles offer a supportive space for like-minded practitioners to come together and share in the practice of Reiki.
At the Melbourne Reiki Healing Circles, we begin with guided self-healing practices, each participant then receives Reiju from a Certified Japanese Reiki Shihan — a traditional blessing similar to attunement — to support and strengthen their connection to Reiki. We then move into giving and receiving Reiki with one another.
It’s a beautiful space to connect with others in community, receive support, develop our hands-on practice and receive healing. Each Gathering offers an opportunity to stay deeply rooted in your Reiki practice.
All Reiki systems and training levels are welcome. Whether you are newly attuned, a long-time practitioner, or someone that has been on hiatus with their practice for a while, all are warmly invited into the practice circle.
The Practice Gatherings are hosted by Fiona Phillips, a Certified Reiki Shihan (Master) and experienced Practitioner. Fiona trained extensively in Western Reiki (Usui Shiki Ryoho) and holds a deep respect and understanding of that system. She has since moved into more specialised practice which focuses on traditional Japanese Reiki — primarily through the lineages of Jikiden Reiki and Komyo ReikiDo — honouring the spiritual and healing roots of Reiki as it was originally practiced in Japan.
Fiona weaves her depth of training into a space that is inclusive, open, and accepting of all systems and levels of experience, while remaining deeply respectful of traditional Reiki. Come as you are — these Melbourne Reiki circles are casual, friendly, supportive, and welcoming to all.

Who Can Join?
Melbourne Reiki gatherings are open to:
-
Reiki Practitioners/students of all levels and lineages tracing back to Mikao Usui
-
People attuned to Reiki who wish to stay connected to the energy or pick their practice up again after a hiatus
You don't need to be a professional or have regular self-practice to come. You just need to be open-hearted and willing to immerse yourself in the practices.
The Melbourne Reiki practice groups are led by Fiona Phillips, an experienced Japanese Reiki Shihan and Practitioner. Fiona offers gentle support, guidance, and encouragement, and warmly welcomes questions, discussion, and connection, including for those finding it challenging to maintain a regular self-practice.
Keeping up a consistent Reiki practice isn’t always easy. These monthly sessions are designed to help you stay connected, inspired, and on track.
For those with an established practice - or who practice Reiki professionally or teach Reiki - these Reiki share groups are a wonderful way to stay connected with community, and to both give and receive Reiki.
Whether you're a seasoned practitioner, just beginning your Reiki journey, or looking to find a renewed connection with your practice, this Melbourne Reiki Gathering is a beautiful way to support you and your practice.
*Please note: These gatherings are open only to those who have completed in-person Reiki training. Students who received their training exclusively online are not eligible to attend.
*You may be asked to email a copy of your Reiki certificate to confirm that you’ve completed at least Level 1 Reiki training with a lineage that traces back to Mikao Usui.

Why Join a Reiki Circle?
Practicing Reiki with others can:
-
Deepen your practice by staying connected to the teachings through ongoing discussions, shared experiences, and the insights and wisdom that emerge in response to the questions explored at our gatherings.
-
Help you stay connected with your practice and healing
-
Support you in your life through connection with a community of like-minded people
-
further advance your own healing though group practice and receiving Reiki.
-
Support you spiritually and boost your connection through the offer of Reiju (Attunement)
It is also simply beautiful to be in a warm, loving and connected space with others who 'get it' - being present in the energy of Reiki and the beautiful community.
MC
“Honestly, sometimes it’s a push to get out the door on a Tuesday night, I'm busy, tired and just want to sit on the couch…but I never regret going. I always leave feeling calmer, lighter and every time, I feel like like I've received a deep healing. I always have the best sleep afterwards!"
SK
"I struggle to keep my practice going on my own, so coming here helps me reconnect. Every time I leave, I leave inspired and motivated to continue my practice at home. It just feels so good! I wish we could do it every week."
VK
“It’s not just the Reiki. It’s the people and the conversations. I always look forward to going.”
